NICET Certification is a very valuable certification, but is also a very difficult certification to attain.  Even fire sprinkler experts with years of experience in the fire sprinkler industry struggle to achieve their certification goals.    NTC’s NICET Fire Sprinkler Design training is designed to make the certification and examination process simpler and easier. 

NTC’s NICET Fire Sprinkler Design Course is intended for the sprinkler professional. This webinar course covers certification procedures and requirements, testing strategies, NFPA 13, and other suggested references for the NICET exam. Additionally, students will learn system design requirements and the specific subjects for certification testing.

This is a practical applications based training course. The information covered in this training directly applies to everyday work in the industry. This course provides students with in depth information on code compliance and proven standard practices for the industry. Those who attend this training will be better prepared to meet the professional challenges of the fire sprinkler industry.

Students access the course through their web browser. They attend live schedule webinar classes, viewing the video portion on their PC and participating in a conference call for the audio portion. The webinar class is conducted live and is completely interactive. The class is conducted over four weeks, in four two-hour sessions.

Students will receive a copy of NFPA 13 (Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, 2007) Layout, Detail, and Calculation of Fire Sprinkler Systems, and the NTC Fire Sprinkler Workbook. These reference books are critical to the NICET test preparation process and make the testing process much easier, allowing the student to achieve his certification goals faster.

Students also receive access to NTC’s Online Self Study NICET Training Program. This program gives the student access to recorded webinar sessions, and access to practice tests which cover topics they will encounter on the NICET exam. These practice tests include over 400 sample questions to practice their test taking skills.
