NTC’s Fire Alarm System Design training is intended for fire alarm professionals who are involved in the design, sale, installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of fire alarm systems. This course discusses proper application of the fire alarm codes and reinforces the students ability to properly apply the codes. Students attending this course will develop a stronger understanding of fire alarm systems, including the requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), and the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Students of this course will learn how fire alarm codes are used and how to apply them to their real life projects. Students will experience fire alarm system design and code application by applying their knowledge to sample fire alarm system projects. The course is taught by experienced NICET Certified instructors who will guide the students through the design process. Student access the course through their web browser. Studentswill receive a copy of the following NTC Professional References: NTC Orange Book (Chuck Notes – Fire Alarm Code Quick Reference Book), and NTC Brown Book (Fire Alarm Systems Design and Installation). Students will also receive a copy of NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm Code, 2010. Students also receive 180 days access to Training Department to continue their studies.
