NTC - National Training Center

NTC’s Advanced NICET Fire Alarm Webinar training is intended for fire alarm professionals who have already achieved Level 1 or Level 2 certification and desire to achieve Level 3 or Level 4.  This course covers advanced test taking skills and reinforces the student’s understanding and application of the fire alarm codes.  Students attending this course will develop a stronger understanding of fire alarm systems, including the requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), and the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). 

This course focuses on NICET work elements that are critical for achieving Level 3 and Level 4 certification.   The student will be exposed to sample questions from required work elements and have an opportunity to discuss the questions and test strategies with an experienced, NICET Certified instructor.

Student access the course through their web browser.  They attend live scheduled webinar classes, viewing the video portion on their PC, and participating in a conference call for the audio portion.  The webinar class is conducted live and is completely interactive.  The class is conducted over four weeks, in four two-hour sessions.

Students will receive a copy of the following NTC Professional References:  NTC Red Book (NICET Testing and Study Guide), NTC Orange Book (Chuck Notes – Fire Alarm Code Quick Reference Book), and NTC Brown Book (Fire Alarm Systems Design and Installation).  These reference books are critical to the NICET test preparation process and make the testing process much easier, allowing the student to achieve his certification goals faster.

Students also receive access to NTC’s Online Self Study NICET Training Program.  This program gives the student access to recorded webinar sessions, and access to practice tests which cover topics they will encounter on the NICET exam for Level 1 through Level 4.  These practice tests include over 1,200 sample questions to practice their test taking skills.
