NICET Fire Alarm Levels 1 & 2 Virtual Classroom
NTC is using the same platform that many colleges and universities are using to continue to bring you live, instructor-led, interactive classroom training.
Ask Questions and Participate
Ask your questions verbally, through chat, or by using the virtual "raise hand". Participate just as you would in an in-person classroom setting.
See and Be Seen
This platform allows you to not only see the instructor, but you have the option to use your computer's web camera to also participate visually.
Small Class Sizes
In an effort to give you an interactive classroom experience, Virtual Classes are limited to no more than 35 students.
Books and Resources
We'll ship you the same books and resources that you would receive in class.

NTC’s NICET Level 1 & 2 Fire Alarm class is intended for the low voltage professional. This course covers certification procedures and requirements, testing strategies, and NFPA code books. Students attending this course will develop a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, including the requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), International Building Code (IBC), and the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).
Included With This Course
NTC Red Book - Fire Alarm Certification Guide
NTC Classroom Handout
90 Days access to NICET Fire Alarm Training in Training Department (if you register for an Interactive Virtual Class, you will also receive a Coupon for a 90 day online refresher that can be used any time before the end of the year)
NFPA 72 - National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code - 2016 Edition
NFPA 70 - National Electrical Code - 2014 Edition
International Building Code (IBC) - 2015 Edition
PLEASE NOTE: We highly recommend each student have their own personal copies of the above code books for use at the class. The training involves learning to use these books (which are also the permitted references for the NICET exam), and students will have a more fulfilling training experience if they have these books.
We encourage registration at least 2 weeks prior to the training date. This will ensure there's adequate shipping time to receive your books and materials.
